How To Face Death Without Fear
Teaching with Venerable Robina Courtin on How to Face Death Without Fear, including the following: We live in complete denial of change, death is definite, the time of death is not definite. There are two ways to prepare for death, the first is to live your life in an appropriate way, recognising that death is true, that you will continue in another rebirth, and that everything you think and do and say - programs your mind and will determine your future rebirth. Attachment to me, is the main source of suffering at the time of death, attachment to this body. We create our own reality, we're the one that determines the kind of person we become. The karmic view brings us to the centre of responsibility for our lives, we are the boss. Everything exists on the tip of the wish! Venerable Robina mentions Lama Zopa Rinpoche's book - How to Face Death Without Fear'. Shantideva Center, New York, 10th June 2020.
