Congenital- Intestinal atresia, Congenital megacolon etc. Acquired- Hernia, Intussusception Classification- 1- Acc. Nature of Obstruction- Dynamic- Peristalsis working Adynamic- (-)ve moving 2- Acc. To blood supply- Simple obstruction- 90% Strangulation- 10% 3- Acc.
