Alternatively: a flat handsaw with a side handle. 02:01 – Cut Place a sample piece of the flooring underneath → Lay the saw flat against it → Cut flush with the door frame. 03:11 – Result The new flooring slides cleanly under the door frame. In this video, we'll be laying a pre-finished parquet floor. It's a Oak Country white, naturally oiled, brushed plank with a country-style finish. With this video, we'd like to share some tips and tricks on how you can quickly and easily lay the parquet yourself. The parquet is being laid on a six-year-old, dry screed that also has underfloor heating. We're laying the parquet as a floating floor, meaning it won't be glued down. Of course, we first need impact sound insulation. We're using planeo Silence impact sound insulation, which we'll roll out under the parquet. And then we're ready to go! In this video, you'll see how incredibly easy it is to lay a parquet floor yourself if you keep a few important points in mind beforehand.
