Do You Need ALL THESE Premium Credit Cards?

High annual fee premium travel cards often have overlapping benefits (Priority Pass lounge access, Global Entry) such that holding multiple cards leads to cannibalization. They also come with some or even many statement credits, leading to a huge spreadsheet of coupons that needs effort to manage and maximize. If you simply want to elevate your travel experiences, having 1 premium travel card can be more than good enough. It thus begs the question as to why my wife and I are currently holding 2 American Express Platinums, 1 Chase Sapphire Reserve, 2 Capital One Venture Xs, and 1 Citi Strata Elite.
