On the third day of our hunt in Pakistan, we set out in search of Sindh ibex. These amazing animals live in southern Pakistan and are known for their shyness, preferring inaccessible mountain slopes. Hunting in Pakistan has its own unique characteristics. Firstly, the number of guides is significantly larger than in other countries. Secondly, guides don't use radios, and communication in the mountains is often unreliable. This means that information on the location of animals can be delayed by up to 20-30 minutes. Moreover, heat exceeding 30 degrees Celsius is quite exhausting. Scorching rocks and steep slopes make hunting Sindh ibex a real challenge. As mentioned, this ibex is naturally very shy and can flee at even the slightest scent. This is exactly what happened to us: while pursuing a group of animals, the wind and scent gave us away. When we finally spotted them, the distance was 750 meters. At this distance, we remained undetected, and the animals felt safe.
