Panadapter SDR dla (prawie) każdego TRX'a

SUPER SDR    • Moje bardzo pierwsze wrażenia: SDR Radio F...   Have you ever wondered how to transform your traditional shortwave radio (TRX) into a modern station with a huge, colorful waterfall? In this video, I show you step-by-step how to connect an additional SDR receiver to your HF transceiver, discuss the key advantages of this solution, and warn you about mistakes that could cost you your equipment! If you want to get the most out of the HF bands and see everything happening around your frequency, this video is for you! ADVANTAGES: Band Visualization (Waterfall): You can see the entire band in real time, allowing you to quickly patch stations and hunt for DX. Independent Second VFO: You can listen to another frequency (e.g., in Split mode) on SDR while your transceiver is transmitting. Better digital filters: SDR software (SDR#, SDRuno, HDSDR) often offers better noise reduction and interference rejection algorithms than older radios. Inexpensive upgrade: Turn your older radio into a modern machine with a large computer screen. DISADVANTAGES: Audio delays (Latency): Audio from the computer/SDR may be slightly delayed compared to the radio, which hinders fast operation on CW or SSB. Station complexity: More cables, need to boot the computer, and configuration of CAT software to synchronize the radio frequency with the SDR. Intermodulation and noise: Cheap SDR receivers (e.g., RTL-SDR) can be easily overloaded by strong signals from an HF antenna. WHAT TO LOOK FOR? RF Isolation: Make sure your T/R switch or splitter has sufficient attenuation (minimum 40-50 dB) when transmitting so that the RF current doesn't damage the SDR input. CAT Synchronization: Use software like Omni-Rig to automatically move the waterfall in the SDR when changing the frequency on the radio's knob. Common Ground and Interference: Use good ferrite cables, as computers and switching power supplies can "sow" interference directly into your sensitive SDR receiver.
