Au nord d'Orléans : un réseau unique de chaleur et de froid !

A first in France: Orléans Métropole launches a heating and cooling network at Pôle 45 in Saran and Ormes! For the first time in France, in an economic activity zone, Orléans Métropole has decided to create a public infrastructure for the production and distribution of industrial heating and cooling at Pôle 45 (north of Orléans), the main economic zone in the Loiret department. This project, led by Orléans Métropole through the SPL Orléans Énergies, and adopted by the Metropolitan Council on June 11, 2026, with the appointment of a concession holder (ENGIE), will allow businesses and public buildings in the area to benefit from low-carbon, local, and competitive energy starting in April 2028.
