A Locomotive Trip on the Chasewater Railway

Some footage captured October 5th 2024 at the Chasewater Railway hauled by Ruston 165DS “Jammo” from Chasetown (Church Street) Station along the line to Brownhills West Station Turn the volume up to hear the grunt of the locomotive working along the line and keep alook out at 6.26 into the video at the deer 🦌 in the field ! Loco Ruston 165DS “Jammo” rolled out the shed after her major overhaul in April this year the volunteers had been working tirelessly over the past 3 to 4 months to get Jammo ready for this running season with a fresh repaint and some major engine work! Credit goes to all the volunteers that have helped to get the loco ready it was great to travel behind her along the line The Chasewater Railway is located in Chasewater Country Park, just off the southbound A5 at Brownhills West in Staffordshire. It operates passenger trains from its headquarters at Brownhills West to Chasetown, with intermediate stations at Norton Lakeside and Chasewater Heaths. A round trip of nearly 4 miles takes about 45 minutes. Day Rover tickets offer unlimited travel on all trains operating on the day of issue. A fabulous railway with a lot to see and do.
