This is a top-tier show, and is one of the band's finest of the whole year. Phil is consistently in great form vocally, acing song after song (though he does unfortunately have some issues on Eleventh Earl of Mar and a very amusing voice crack during the '666' verse of Supper's Ready). The instrumentation is through the roof too - everybody sounds tight and completely focused. Just listen to Chester lay down so many extra fills on Squonk and Firth of Fifth, Steve showing off during Inside and Out and Quiet Earth, and Mike and Tony's genius interplay during I Know What I Like. Even more special too, this has the first recorded version of The Knife on the tour, though it was done at the first Earls Court show too, though we don't have it on tape. This has all been captured on a radio broadcast and is surely one of the most essential Genesis shows of the decade.
