According to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, extensive field trials conducted by ARAI, the Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), SIAM, and Indian Oil found no significant issues related to engine performance, drivability, or material compatibility. The government also highlighted that E20 fuel follows international best practices, with countries such as Brazil, the United States, Canada, and Japan already using ethanol-blended fuels.
