PERSEPOLIS e il PROBLEMA di capire l'IRAN: il fumetto CLAMOROSO firmato Marjane Satrapi

Persepolis is a historical/autobiographical comic book written and illustrated by Iranian author Marjane Satrapi and published in the early 2000s. The work narrates the author's life, from her childhood in Iran, just after the 1979 revolution, to her adulthood in self-imposed exile in Europe. The work returns, today more than ever, demonstrating its relevance following the dramatic events currently unfolding in contemporary Iran. Today, we will analyze (SPOILER-FREE) the work's main themes, seeking to highlight its most significant meanings. The comic book also inspired a 2007 animated film of the same name, written and directed by Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud. The film, some clips of which you can see in the video used for the editing, manages to restore the power of the original work without completely exhausting it. 🔗 USEFUL LINKS & CHANNEL SUPPORT: 📦 Support the channel with your Amazon purchases Use this affiliate link (at no extra cost to you): 👉 https://amzn.to/3zPq3V4 📸 Follow me on Instagram 👉   / illumedietro   💎 Subscribe to the YouTube channel 👉    / @illumedietro   🎧 Listen to the podcast on Spotify 👉 https://open.spotify.com/show/5HGQVug... 🔔 Don't forget to subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications to stay updated on upcoming videos: the channel focuses primarily on art, literature, and pop culture! 👍 Leave a like and a comment to let me know what you think!
