Attempted Spiti Circuit | Ep 1 - Narkanda to Kalpa

We reached Narkanda from Chandigarh on Day 1 by evening. After checking into our hotel, we were too tired to do anything else, so we called it a night. The next morning, we started our drive to Kalpa. It's about 160 km and takes roughly 6 hours, although we always add another couple of hours to the Maps estimate for chai breaks, meals, and the occasional photo stop. The entire drive follows the Sutlej River. At some places, you'll see it flowing deep down in dramatic gorges, and at others, it'll be running right alongside the road. The changing landscapes make the journey just as beautiful as the destination. As you reach Kalpa, you're welcomed by the mighty Kinnaur Kailash range. Seeing those towering snow-capped peaks for the first time is truly a sight to behold. We planned to spend the next two days in Kalpa. More from Kalpa is coming in the next videos.
