As a 5-star chef, I wanted to see for myself: beyond the iconic Mazu Temple, does Lukang have authentic street food that you can't find in Taipei? Can these local flavors truly impress a chef’s palate? In this episode, my team prepared a "Lukang Food Bingo" challenge! I tasted unique delicacies like deep-fried "Shrimp Monkeys," Oyster Cakes, and the famous Lukang Noodle Paste. While you can find meat buns and ox-tongue biscuits in Taipei, the traditional methods used here in Lukang create a completely different level of flavor. It’s truly special! Beyond the food, I was captivated by the atmosphere. The historic architecture, vibrant lantern displays, and creative boutiques perfectly blend "nostalgia" with "modern creativity."
