Ghostbusters II (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Activision's 1990 NES game, Ghostbusters II. Though it may not have won any Game of the Year Awards, this is an incredible improvement over the original. Ghostbusters II carries a good many of the hallmarks of its developer, Imagineering (Bart vs. the Space Mutants, A Boy and his Blob, et al), especially in its graphics and sound design, but it's surprisingly easy for how notorious many of the developer's games are for being extremely difficult. GB2 makes a good effort in representing the movie in game form, and even allows you to drive the Statue of Liberty through the city, using your torch as a weapon to fend against ghosts. The game play regularly switches itself up between platforming, driving, and shooting, and does them all fairly well. The controls are awkward, but they are pretty responsive, so it's not too bad to get into it. Just don't expect it to last long - it'll last you an afternoon or two, but once you finish it, there's not a lot to back back for. _____ No cheats were used during the recording of this video.
