Ajedrez e informática: Desmitificando AlphaZero vs. Stockfish - Entrevista al Dr. Juanjo del Coz

Since Garry Kasparov's defeat by Deep Blue, the machine from the computer giant IBM, more than 20 years ago, chess and computers have been inextricably linked. Today, a new computer giant, Google, has turned the world of the 64 squares upside down with a deep neural network capable of playing chess. Just a week ago, the now-famous match between the benchmark chess engine Stockfish and Google's new AI AlphaZero was announced, and since then, the chess world has been abuzz. Is this machine as strong as they say? Has perfection been achieved in the game? What exactly is "Artificial Intelligence," and how does it differ from other chess programs? To answer these and other questions, we are joined today by Dr. Juanjo del Coz. Juanjo del Coz is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oviedo. http://www.aic.uniovi.es/~juanjo To learn more, here is the scientific article published by the AlphaZero team: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1712.01815.pdf ♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙ ♔ Subscribe:    / @circulocapa   ♕ Chess openings aren't everything; discover "The 100 Patterns You Need to Know":    • Los 100 patrones que hay que saber en Ajedrez   ♖ Enjoy the best games in history with our "Masterful Games":    • Partidas magistrales de ajedrez   ♗ Test your technique in "Cape's Endgames":    • Los finales del Capa   ♘ We answer your questions in "The Subscriber Corner":    • El rincón del subscriptor   ♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙ ♚ FB:   / circuloajedrezcapablanca   ♛ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/circulocapa... ♜ Twitter:   / circulocapa   Don't miss our online chess lessons on YouTube!
