Feeling guilty for causing the mass murder in Shibuya and wary of Sukuna, who is targeting Fushiguro, Itadori does not return to the technical college, and instead works with Choso to focus on defeating the large number of cursed spirits unleashed by Kamo Norimichi. Amidst this chaos, the Jujutsu General Inspectorate revokes Itadori Yuji's stay of execution and appoints Special Grade Sorcerer Okkotsu Yuta as his executioner. Okkotsu stands in Itadori's way to carry out his mission. A modern-day sorcerer has newly awakened as a swimmer (player) of the "Death Evolution," and a sorcerer from the past has been resurrected in flesh.
