1. Vorlesung: Friedrich Nietzsche: Über Wahrheit und Lüge... (Philosophie d. Neuesten Zeit (SS 2026)
This lecture focuses on Friedrich Nietzsche's early text "On Truth and Lies in a Nonmoral Sense"—a key text of modern philosophy. Nietzsche radically challenges the classical conception of truth: for him, truth is not a timeless correspondence between thought and the world, but a historical product of linguistic, social, and practical processes. Concepts appear as metaphors that have forgotten their own origins. In doing so, Nietzsche opens up perspectives that later become central for Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida, Jacques Lacan, and many others: that truth is always also a question of power, perspective, and way of life.
