Today, Ciwie Catering employees started working at 2:00 a.m. with an order for 500 boxes, specifically 250 rice boxes and 250 snack boxes. The order was for the Semarang City Social Service, and had to be delivered very early in the morning. The menu was quite simple: a quarter of grilled chicken, chili sauce, fresh vegetables, and white rice. Despite its simplicity, the grilled chicken was cooked differently. The chicken was marinated until tender with spices, oven-roasted, and then grilled over charcoal. The result was a more tender, delicious, and long-lasting grilled chicken. The snack menu included steamed sponge cake, kletikan, cassava balado, tofu meatballs, arem-arem, putu mayang, and mineral water.
