We planned a three-day, two-night trip, starting from the Tataka trailhead and staying at the Yuanfeng Mountain Hut, the highest peak in Taiwan. On the first day, feeling refreshed, we conquered Dongxiaonanshan. The second day brought physical and mental torment, with steep ascents and razor-sharp cliffs, before witnessing the sunrise at Yushan South Peak, one of the ten most rugged peaks in Taiwan. Then, we battled the arduous climb of Lushan, one of the four most famous bird peaks. On the third day, we set off in the dark, venturing onto the stunning golden grasslands and successfully summiting the incredibly remote South Yushan. This journey was filled with extreme rock climbing, endless steep ascents, and of course, breathtaking views of the sea of ​​clouds.
