Ice Cream Gnome Tutorial | DIY Clay Gnomes You Can Make
Using simple pottery handbuilding techniques, I’ll show you how to make these ice-cream themed clay gnomes in this pottery beginners tutorial, . Once you know the basic gnome shape, you can change the hat, beard, texture and details to make loads of different variations This beginner-friendly clay project can be made with stoneware clay, earthenware clay, or even air dry clay if you want. No pottery wheel needed! Method 1: The Dropped Ice Cream Gnome: Shaping the clay to look like someone dropped their ice cream cone. Method 2: The Chocolate Dipped Cone: Using extra bits of thin clay to shape a chocolate rim Method 3: The "Knickerbocker Glory" with all the decorations, even a cherry on top!
