2026 Democratic Primary Runoff Candidate Forum - Texas Blue Action

Democratic candidates running in crucial statewide races for Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General joined Texas Blue Action on May 13, 2026. They are all headed to a run off election, and will be on our ballots this MAY. Early voting begins on May 18th (Monday) and ends on May 22nd (Friday). Election day is May 26th (Tuesday). The March Democratic Primaries were the first time in decades that Texas voters turned out higher for Democrats than Republicans. All eyes are on Texas, and now in MAY, we have more important choices to make. We know there will be significantly less voter turnout for these May run-off elections, and the most effective way to get voters to the polls is by contacting the people we know. We need fighters to stand up against the MAGA political movement. Let’s make sure you and your community actually choose your fighters by mobilizing the people you know to the polls.
