Beautiful Suspension Bridge Will Connect Lambhuk and KL Mosque SERAMBINEWS.COM – A beautiful suspension bridge will be built near the Keuchik Leumiek Mosque (KL Mosque) in Banda Aceh. The suspension bridge, built with a budget of approximately IDR 4.5 billion, will connect the KL Mosque in Gampong Lamseupeung, Lueng Bata District, with Lambhuk, Uleekareng District. The bridge's construction was initiated by H. Irmawan, a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) from Aceh from the National Awakening Party (PKB), and is being carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR). On Friday morning (December 20, 2024), Irmawan surveyed the suspension bridge construction site with Munawar Ngoh Wan, Head of the PKB Faction in the Aceh Regional People's Representative Council (DPRA), and Ir. Bahagia, Head of the Aceh Regional Development Planning Agency (BPJN), along with several of his staff. They inspected both sides of what will become the abutments, or heads of the suspension bridge: the Lambhuk side (near Cempaka Lima Hospital) and the Lamseupeung side (near the KL Mosque). At Lamseupeung, the group of House of Representatives members was greeted by the Head of the Mosque Welfare Board (BKM), Haji Keuchik Leumiek, HM Kamaruzzaman HKL. According to Serambinews.com, markers have been installed on both sides of the bridge construction boundary. Irmawan and Bahagia stated that construction of this bridge will begin in January 2025 and is scheduled for completion in July 2025.
