Ferrata Crench sotto la pioggia? No, grazie! Lago d'Idro, nel Bresciano

** english version below ** Percorso: partenza dal centro di Crone (BS), sul lago d'Idro (quota 360 m). 15 minuti di facile avvicinamento per stradine e sentiero nel bosco. La ferrata Crench presenta una buona roccia, poche staffe e numerosi appoggi naturali, che la rendono arrampicabile. Ma dopo un forte acquazzone la roccia è fradicia e molto scivolosa, siamo costretti a tirare di cavo e cercare supporti orizzontali per i piedi. Faticosamente raggiungiamo Punta Pelata (632 m), e con ripido sentiero Cima Crench (779 m). Scendiamo al passo Cocca d’Idro (682 m), proseguiamo per Sella di Preonde (692 m). Alla Gola di Menghé (968 m) deviamo per Monte Croce di Perlè (1.031 m), con bella vista sul lago d'Idro. Da lì scendiamo al Sentiero Attrezzato delle Cascate d'Idro, che percorriamo in discesa, con vista sulle 4 cascate formate dal Torrente Valle Neco. Distanza: 9,9 km. Dislivello: 1.040 m, da 360 m a 1.031 m Livello: sentiero EEA, classificato C con un paio di passaggi D, la ferrata Crench diventa piuttosto scivolosa e quindi pericolosa con roccia bagnata (sconsigliato!).
