Mythology 101: The Titanomachy (The War Between the Gods and the Titans) (Series 1, Episode 3)

After Zeus was born and raised in secret, he grew to power and went to war against his father's generation of immortals, but he needed help from three primal gods of the early universe. This is the Titanomachy, the first epic war in Greek myth between the Olympian gods and the Titans, for supremacy over the universe. Part 3 of a lecture series about the creation of the universe in Hesiod's Theogony, the first creation myth in ancient Greek literature. I used to be a professor at a major public university, where students paid thousands of $$$ to register in my courses. But I don't believe that human knowledge belongs behind a paywall, so now I'm putting my old classes online, where anyone can watch them for free.
