Rinse FM | Ladies Hit Squad (Wiley & Target, Maxwell D), GodsGift, Plague & Major Ace | UK Garage 99

Artwork by Take Me Back Pirate Radio Archives. Recorded on Wiley's 20th birthday, on the evening of Tues 19th Jan 1999. DJ Wiley B2B DJ Target with Maxwell D (Ladies Hit Squad), alongside special guests MC GodsGift, Plague and Major Ace (RIP). Recorded in 2000 before the formation of the mighty Pay As You Go Cartel. Maxwell D came back to Rinse FM after his release from Feltham Young Offenders Institution, however, the young MC was destined for success with before his trouble with the law, earning a spot on London's Kool FM with his DJ, Nicky Slim Ting, which was something prestigious but sadly short lived. All that being said Maxwell D was destined for another round of success and his reputation as a highly talented MC was clear. Keen listeners of Rinse FM could smell something was on the cards for these ghetto super stars. Major Ace (known as MC Ace on Rinse FM 91.8 as a Jungle MC in the mid 90s) had joined Rinse from Pure Magic FM 90.2 and Mc GodsGift, formerly known as MC Pepsi from 91.8FM days, came back to his spiritual home to join the rest of the crew. These were exciting times.
