Macaé Evaristo, Secretary of Education for the State of Minas Gerais, and Mara Evaristo, a teacher, discuss their cousin, the writer. They share the experience of reading Conceição's writings, which draw heavily from family memories. For them, they identify with relatable and connecting stories passed down through generations.
