Pontianak 1 High School expressed its disappointment with the jury's decision in the West Kalimantan level of the 2026 MPR RI 4 Pillars LCC. The disappointment arose after the SMAN 1 Pontianak team received a 5-point deduction for answering a question regarding the process of selecting members of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK RI), answering "selected by the DPR, with consideration by the DPD, and inaugurated by the President." The school considered there to be inconsistencies in the scoring, as another team reportedly provided a similar answer but still received 10 points from the jury. Pontianak 1 High School also stated that it lodged a protest during the competition. However, according to the school, the protest was not followed up, and the competition continued.
