Shopping Rare Cactus from a Private Collection at Arizona Cactus Sales

Everyone in the CACSS knows Eric Lundberg, an amazing local cactus grower who grew cactus for the love of the plants and for the love of growing. On top of his incredible growing skills, Eric is also always willing and welcoming to share his knowledge and has done so with countless folks over the years. I have chatted with him on several occasions and attended his CACSS talk. He is kind and humorous. He is also very methodical in his growing process. I learned recently that Eric is moving out of state and he is not bringing his plants with him. Ty and his team at Arizona Cactus Sales took the task of helping Eric sell his ENTIRE CACTUS COLLECTION. We're talking hundreds if not thousands of plants both potted and from his landscape. I huge portion of the plants were grown from seed by Eric. Every single plant is labeled with an ID. Ty mentioned that Eric keeps spreadsheets that lists every single plant in his collection. I never had a chance to visit Eric's property, but now we have a chance to see a portion of his beloved plants at Arizona Cactus Sales. Every single plant is for sale. In this video, we shop Eric's private collection at Arizona Cactus Sales. Keep in mind that this sale has been running for a while so the plants shown in this video do not represent Eric's entire collection. I recorded this video in October, so by the time this video is published some plants will have already sold but there will also be more available. Yes, this is a shopping video but it actually more of a chance to see some of the incredible plants that Eric has grown over the years.
