Thank you for watching ☺️ Thank you for your hard work in July 🍀 It's been described as disaster-level, and it's dangerously hot everywhere in Japan every day 😭 How are you all feeling? 💦 This video is about 5 million yen savings challenge 🌟 We've been working hard this month too 🙆‍♀️ My family has been simultaneously building up our cash savings and investing, and this July we reached our secret goal of 2 million yen, which marks a milestone in our cash savings. ✨ (This is enough for our family to live on for six months even with zero income. 🌱) Now that we have a large emergency fund, we're going to be more proactive in investing. I'm planning to try investing! 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ I know some of my viewers are worried about the risks involved with investing, but I believe investing is a necessary tool for achieving my goal of growing my assets. I'm going to keep learning and consider my risk tolerance as I go. 😃💪 Bonus Just in case some of you are wondering, I'll write a little about it. 📝 July was my husband's bonus month. 🙋‍♂️ Until last year, he would put a portion of his bonus into savings, but this time, I'm deliberately asking him to use his bonus for himself. 🙆‍♀️ The reason is that since January of this year, we've been spending our monthly household expenses. He's shouldering a large financial burden.👍🌱 (We went from sharing our income to living off my husband's income and saving almost all of mine.) Working hard at both work and life, we all need rewards and money to spend freely, and it's definitely more fun to have it.😃 (He's already buying things he's wanted, and he looks so happy and excited.☺️) I forgot to mention this in the video, but that's why our summer bonus won't affect our household finances.🙆‍♀️ ◆About work changes◆ There are so many things I want to do, and I haven't decided which ones I'll focus on yet. I'm not ready yet (I'll talk about it in a video when I find the timing! ☺️) I always felt like I didn't have enough time for anything, so I wanted to save up as much money as I could while I still had the freedom to do so, so I could have more time to focus on the things I want to do in the future. 🌱 I set a deadline and increased my temporary work from 3 days a week to 5 days a week, and my plan to save all of the extra income started at the end of July 2023. 💪 Summer 2023...I increased my temporary work from 3 days a week to 5 days a week. Winter 2023...I quit my job because it wasn't a good fit for me. January 2024...I successfully found my next job! ✨I'll start full-time in February!
