It takes over 20 hours to fly to Palau from California often with at least 2 layovers but when you get there you know it was all so worth it. Palau is a true slice of heaven: World-Renowned diving spots, the Rock Islands, which are a UNESCO World Heritage site and were featured on the cover of Nat Geo, tons of history, especially from WWII, and, of course, the warmth of the people.
