Adjusting the monitor gain on the Anytone AT5555N II
This allows you to hear your transmitted audio, useful for checking echo etc. By default you would normally have this set to 'OFF' unless of course you like listening to your own voice all the time! Don't be tempted to have it up too high, otherwise you will get some serious feedback and possibly do some damage. It can adjusted from 0 to 32, try around 10 to start with.
