What Is A Moonphase Watch And How Do You Set It? - Watch and Learn #40
In today's episode of Watch and Learn, we will be discussing moonphase watches. A moonphase watch simply tells you the current phase of the moon. Simple, right? But we will break it down and explain why the moon changes phase, and how a few different watches try to portray moonphase on the dial. We will eliminate some confusion that comes from "sun and moon" watches as well. Lastly, we will set a Graf Zeppelin Moonphase watch from scratch, to show you the entire process. This watch uses a Ronda 706B moonphase and calendar movement. So these steps can be used to set any watch using this movement, or a variant thereof.
