Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway, strengthening the power grid, Rajshahi Surface Water Treatment Plant—these projects are also great examples of Bangladesh-China cooperation. Now, about 20 major projects have come under discussion. The two most discussed among them are the Second Padma Bridge and the Second Jamuna Bridge. The Second Padma Bridge has been proposed on the Paturia in Manikganj to Daulatdia route in Rajbari. This route could further facilitate the capital's connectivity with the southwestern region.
