25 kVA Diesel: Actual power outage! Will it power my house?

The same day as I put the last parts into the big diesel, the storm Anna rolled in and knocked out power for almost a day! Not knowing how severe the outage would be, I had to quickly bodge together a generator hookup just to be on the safe side. After the storm, we do some more testing after I'd had time to do a real, safe generator hookup that isn't just an extension cord wired into a panel through the doggy door ...
