Knowing the Right Fight There are many battles around you — but do you know the right fight to fight? Many people pray, fast, and struggle spiritually, yet never see change because they are fighting the wrong battle. Sometimes the real battle is not outside you — it is inside you. It may be anger. Lust. Envy. Pride. Bad character. Unforgiveness. If the real issue is not addressed, it becomes an open door that continues to damage your life. In Book of Judges 13:1–5, God already had a purpose and calling prepared before Samson’s life even began. But later, wrong decisions and lack of discipline weakened him. This is why discernment matters. You can pray for hours and fast for days, but if you ignore the real problem, the battle may continue. God wants you to fight with wisdom, truth, and self-examination. When the right issue is confronted and surrendered to God, freedom and growth begin.
