There’s no chains, no bathing sessions, no riding, and no pushing the animals to interact. They just let the elephants wander around freely and live at their own pace. Honestly, it was so nice to see them relaxed and simply being themselves. I also got the chance to walk through a rubber tree plantation, where I learned how farmers tap the trees and collect latex. It’s a simple but really important part of daily life here, and seeing it up close made me appreciate it even more.
