Photographing Three Bridges with One Fixed Lens Camera

In this video I head to North Queensferry near Edinburgh to photograph the iconic Forth Bridges using just one camera — the Fujifilm GFX100RF with its fixed lens. Normally I might bring a zoom to isolate details, but today I’m embracing the creative constraint of working with a single focal length and seeing what compositions reveal themselves. From long-exposure reflections of the historic Forth Rail Bridge to more abstract views of the modern crossing, I explore how limiting your gear can actually push you to think harder about composition, light and storytelling. Sometimes the photos you didn’t plan for end up being the ones that matter most. -------------------- If you are interested in joining me (& David Taylor) on a small group landscape photography workshop based in Northumberland, please follow the link below: https://jasonfriend.co.uk/collections... -------------------- Become a channel member to access the online photography course, download free ebooks and read exclusive photography articles!    / @jasonfriendphotography   -------------------- View all of photography products currently available (including Calendars, Greeting Cards & Jigsaw Puzzles): https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/jasonfr... -------------------- View all of the gear I use to make these videos: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/jasonfr... -------------------- #fujifilmgfx100rf #MediumFormat #cityphotography
