Sky EPG Final Closedown - 00:59:57 01/01/2018 As CompuGeek mentioned, after 20 years of broadcast Sky has turned off the EPG channel. From the looks of things as it stands no one is able to hear any music just a standard error visual on the channel now. I have tried to retune my receiver in again to this channel and although it picks it up it is still silent. I have added a time code to the video above in order to display the time that the closedown happens. For reference I started recording at exactly 22:30 on 31/12/2017 and finished the recording at 10:30 01/01/2018. HOWEVER the recording finished a short time after the music stopped playing, which looks like it was caused by the transponder being turned off or by the video feed stopping completely, I am not sure which is true.
