What to expect during your stay at Jungle Lodges and Resort, Sakrebyle? This is my first time experience staying in Jungle Lodges and Resort. We booked 1 night package deal for a couple. Evening trek into the forest and you will get to see lot of elephants roaming around freely 3. Campfire, snack and a movie show about Bhadra wildlife sanctuary 4. Morning trek into the forest leading to a river stream 5. Boat ride for 30 minutes for additional charges 6. Free entry to Sakrebyle Elephant camp Is it worth? ABSOLUTELY.... If you are starting to plan your summer vacation do add this Jungle lodges stay in your list. Just at 312 kms from Bangalore and 14 kms from Shivamogga, this place would be a fun experience for your kids. My favourite part of this stay was those trek/ hike into the forest as we were able to observe and watch elephants move around freely in their natural habitat. In the Sakrebyle campsite those animals are restrained for safety of people and the animal, so I rather enjoyed watching them in the forest than the campsite. We were able to see close to 20 elephants in the camp site including 3 to 4 baby elephants.
