Part 40: The Exorcist - A Hero's Rest

Checking in this session we find no current Threats and we need to defeat the Demon Lord and unlock 10 trade routes for short term objectives. Last time we defeated the Ice Titan and now that just leaves the Demon and Dragon Boss in the chain. There are also raids and we have only beaten the first of six there. Sure enough the Demon Lord is threatening our town and we should set out some quests for that if our hero's are up to the challenge. Emerald Gardens is the second raid zone but we hold off on more raids at this point, they use royal coupons and we are not generating as many of these as we would like. Sam stops by so its time for a round of crafting. Then another threat of Giants appear so we make our way to the quest board and fill in some requests to try to meet the menaces. Our Pauldron supply runs low so we craft a few more to fill in the gaps. The season summary is in and we actually manage to score an "S" rating for the first time which gives us 12k coins as a reward. Whommy will be our first Cleric after some training as he was a former Whirlwind. The trader comes back and we do more crafting and selling off the junk. The Hero's pull through and bring down the Demon Lord! So now its down to just the dragon boss. Putting the Alchemy shop to work we craft up some potions and transmute a bunch of materials. The demons want revenge and we have to fend them and the giants off or they vandalize our town. More crafting and then we get rid of the Demons, but the Dragons are wanting a piece of our town too so we work on those while still trying to get the Giants. We come close but fail the Giant Threat needing just one more finished. Doing more crafting we decide to use the recycler station to offload the junk. And while we are crafting the Trader comes back so we keep going with a whole round of gear. We make a rediculous amount of backpacks trying to get some decent stats. Beating the dragons the boss shows up and we are not really prepared to handle how tough it is at this point however with only one hero able to handle it. This is from the Sept 18th stream. Time to create a town Hero's can rest up, get some gear, have a meal, train their skills, and get some epic quests!
