This video is the first part of a response to Davi Caldas from @IntelectusPodcast regarding the claim that a person could be baptized in the Adventist Church without accepting Ellen White, either because the baptismal vow doesn't directly mention her name or because the Church Manual speaks of "doctrines" and not "Fundamental Beliefs." The central question is: is there a real difference, in the context of baptism, between "church doctrines" and "Fundamental Beliefs"? And, if the baptismal candidate must publicly confirm their acceptance of the Fundamental Beliefs, what does this mean in relation to Fundamental Belief #18, about the Gift of Prophecy? The goal is not to place Ellen White above the Bible. On the contrary: Fundamental Belief #18 itself states that her writings must be proven by the Bible.
