📻 Yesterday, María López Negreteópez, president of CECOBI, participated once again in the "Bizkaia Barcode" program, along with Luis Arbiol Oñate, president of bilbaoDendak, and Susana Alaguero, president of the Old Town Business and Hospitality Association. During the interview, they discussed the arrival of Bizum as a payment method in physical stores and the doubts that still exist surrounding its implementation: differences between banks, how it works with card readers, potential fees, and how small businesses adapt to new payment methods. The president of CECOBI shared the direct experience of her establishment, Pinturas del Norte, where Bizum payments are already available, and raised a key issue for the sector: the need for banks to clearly explain how fees will be applied and what implications this will have for businesses.
