Jan and Dale Foster's six-year-old son, Cody, begins conversing with an unsettling imaginary friend he calls "Man." At first, they dismiss it as a harmless phase, but as weeks pass, Cody's behavior takes a sinister turn. His outbursts and chilling remarks lead Jan to suspect that "Man" is no ordinary imaginary friend but something far more malevolent.
