SHOW DETAILS Show: Tarka Host: Rida Aftab Date: 9 April 2026 Channel: Masala TV RECIPES FEATURED • Chicken Masala Rice Ingredients: • Boiled rice – 1/2 kg • Boneless chicken – 1/2 kg • Yogurt – 1/2 cup • Yellow food color (zarda color) – a pinch • Red chili powder – 2 teaspoons • Salt – 1 teaspoon • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon • Black pepper – 1 teaspoon • Oil – 1/2 cup Other Ingredients: • Spring onions – 1 cup • Sweet corn (canned) – 1 tin • Soya sauce – 4 tablespoons • Chili sauce – 2 tablespoons • Chopped garlic – 1 tablespoon Method: Marinate the boneless chicken with yogurt, yellow food color, red chili powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and black pepper. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chopped garlic. Add the marinated chicken and cook on high heat until it turns golden brown. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, add boiled rice, black pepper, sweet corn, and soya sauce. Also add chili sauce and mix well. Now add spring onions and the cooked chicken. Cover and let it steam for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and serve. Coconut Cooler Ingredients: • Coconut malai (fresh coconut cream) – 2 cups • Condensed milk – 1 cup • Ice – 2 cups • Strawberry jelly – 1/2 packet Method: In a blender, add strawberry jelly, coconut malai, ice, and condensed milk. Blend well until smooth.Once fully blended, pour into a coconut shell or serving glass and serve chilled. Viral Ifa Chicken Ingredients: • Chicken – 1/2 kg • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon • Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon • All spice powder – 1 teaspoon • Mustard paste – 1 teaspoon • Lemon juice – 4 tablespoons • Yogurt – 1/2 cup • Oil – 4 tablespoons For the Sauce: • Cream – 1 cup • Garlic cloves – 6 • Salt – a pinch • Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon Method: Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients for about 30 minutes. Then cook it in a pan (karahi) until fully done and dry. For the sauce, blend all the sauce ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and let it cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
