Polype, diverticule du colon. Quelle différence? - 2 minutes pour comprendre

Dr. Didier Loiseau, gastroenterologist and hepatologist, author of "Diverticulosis," is speaking with JC Durousseaud. Polyps and diverticula are often discovered during a colonoscopy because they are both located in the colon. However, they are otherwise very different. Polyps are dense, located inside the colon; they are always removed because they can become cancerous. Diverticula are hollow appendages outside the colon and are rarely operated on. The risk is limited to infection. On Médecine TV, find all of Jean-Claude Durousseaud's medical programs.
