MJ from SHAHS OF SUNSET gets EMBRYO TRANSFER

Thank you so much to everyone at Southern California Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills. Dr. Shahin Ghadir and his team are truly the best!! As a woman who grew up very independent and career driven, I did not prioritize marriage until later in life. At the same time, I took for granted that both men and women can have obstacles in getting pregnant the moment that they decide they are ready. I never felt my “biological clock ticking.” Even when I froze my eggs, I was still in denial about the necessity of this process and took my opportunity for granted. I understand that each woman’s journey is different. The most challenging aspect of it for me was the fertility meds because they made me feel lethargic, moody and emotional. A large part of it was that I didn’t feel like going through it. I expected to get pregnant naturally and had never asked my now husband if he had ever had a sperm analysis, which we later determined was healthy except for motility. My best advice for women in their 30’s, is to go for it with a VERY POSITIVE ATTITUDE! In fact, I beg women do this. Think of me in this moment and believe me when I tell you, TO GET THIS DONE even if you think you may NEVER want kids, or that you’re leaving it in the hands of fate, or any other rationalization women make. I understand the process sound tedious, but it’s really not. It’s about 12 days of your life, and should be wise enough to do it twice, you can make it 24 days that you’ll never regret. It’s an insurance policy for the day you wake up with a realization that you don’t have to regret never making. Also, we as women evolve, we are not the woman today that we will be tomorrow. The life goals we have today, will shift and change. Also, fear can be a big factor in procrastinating this. Trust me, ladies and gentlemen. Period.
