An elevator, a labyrinth of tubes, and at least fifteen seed chambers—Eden Cradle is considerably larger than it appeared from the outside. In this episode, we finally reach the Eden Cradle outpost and go alongside it for the first time. What seems like a manageable base quickly reveals itself to be a multi-story complex with a power-free basement, guarded corridors, and a network of spheres that hum quietly—until they stop. Hausi and I explore, build a windmill for emergency power, turn off the first spheres' lights, and realize: we still have a lot to do here.
