I recently visited Higashimatsushima Roadside Station, a roadside station in Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture, which just opened last year, to do some research! This roadside station is officially recognized as allowing car camping, and it even announces on its website that it allows car camping! There's a convenience store (Lawson) on-site, and the streetlights are incredibly bright, so even beginners are recommended for car camping.👍 There's no bath, but Toilets are available 24 hours a day. Hot water is available at the hand-washing area. There's an Aeon Town and a public bath nearby.
