Ich wäre fast gestorben – Not-OP in Ungarn als Ausländer!

When I first arrived in Hungary, I had emergency surgery – and quite honestly: If the whole thing had happened 30 to 60 minutes later, I would have died. I woke up in severe pain and immediately realized: Something was wrong. I then contacted the emergency services myself, was picked up – and everything happened very quickly at the hospital. Diagnosis – bang, no long words – and I was on the operating table. As a foreigner who doesn't speak Hungarian, it's a really strange experience at first. You're in a foreign country, you don't understand anyone – and suddenly you're in emergency surgery. Even the three days in the hospital, without understanding anyone – that wasn't easy. But honestly: That's part of being an emigrant. And despite everything, it was a positive experience for me, one that I want to talk about with you today. In this video, I tell you the whole story, sharing my thoughts, feelings, and also my opinion. And I would be happy if you would share your experiences with me in the comments – whether with emigrating, with the healthcare system abroad, or with an emergency like this.
