Reacting to Modern Final Fantasy Drama - FF Twitter Saga continues

I set Final Fantasy Twitter on fire again! But instead of just about FF7R, it was about the broader direction of FF as a whole. FF16 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth underperformed, and it's not just because they were PS5 exclusives. They have been out on PC for ages, and that didn't fix the sales. The reason people are not telling their friends to rush out and but them, is because they simply aren't that good. Since I am the main character of the universe, I made a tweet to Square Enix letting them know what I thought the deep problem was: They are making FF specifically for Modern Fans. The funny thing is, they don't need to do that. Modern FF Fans have absolutely no standards. Their only condition is that the game is called "Final Fantasy". Do that, and they will buy it. They say they hate turn-based, but if FF17 is turn based they will buy it on Day 1. And again a year later on PC. They'd do the same if FF12, 15, 16 and FF7R were turn-based too. But that's only one part of the problem (I list the others in the tweet). As you can imagine, the modern FF fans on Twitter absolutely LOVED my take, and shared their love in the quote tweets and the comments.
